Kitchen & Bath Remodels: Three Week Kitchens by D&Y Design Group
Rethink. Remodel. Resurface.
A designer kitchen in as little as three weeks…
The kitchen and bath remodel division of D&Y Design Group, Three Week Kitchens™ brings over 20 years of experience in the home renovation market. Together, we’ll help take your kitchen from “dated” to “updated” in weeks.
Three Week Kitchens™ offers a wide variety of kitchen remodeling solutions to get the look you want. We utilize the same process for all our kitchen remodels, whether it is a large project or a small one, because we believe that good design is always a great idea.
In some circumstances, it makes the most sense to start from scratch, especially if the home’s layout isn’t right for the homeowner or the existing materials are poor quality or dilapidated. In a full rip and replace project, the space is completely demolished, down to the drywall, and all new fixtures and finishes are brought in. This is also the time to contemplate moving walls, plumbing fixtures and appliances, though major structural and mechanical changes can drive prices up considerably.
Another great tool is called cabinet re-surfacing. We add new, high-quality wood material and new full overlay doors and drawers to existing cabinet boxes, in the same way that modern cabinets are built in the factory. During the update, we’ll add luxurious, full-extension, soft-close hinges and drawer glides with new, high quality drawer boxes. We can also add rollout shelving and change the location of some appliances. The result is a high-quality, full-featured kitchen at about half the cost of traditional remodel.
Sometimes a fresh coat of paint can make a huge difference! If you’re mostly happy with your existing kitchen, but you feel it needs a little freshening up, cabinet painting can be a great option. We can also add new hardware, and consider updating your countertops, backsplash, lighting and plumbing at the same time. Three Week Kitchens Designers are always available to help you choose the right features to make your kitchen pop!
Not every kitchen needs a full remodel – some spaces will benefit from what Three Week Kitchens calls “repurposing,” which is a way of redesigning the existing space utilizing the maximum available resources already at hand. There are infinite ways to bring freshness and vibrancy to a project. Perhaps a new countertop and backsplash, or new cabinet hardware and lighting would have large visual impact in the space. Replacing major appliances, which typically have a lifespan of ten to fifteen years, can also be considered. By choosing a repurposing option, savvy homeowners can achieve a swoon-worthy kitchen more economically than through traditional remodeling.
